Sallianne (homed)

Sallianne has found her forever home with Margaret!

Sallianne is one of three sweet female greyhounds in Victoria, whos breeding services were no longer required. Thankfully with the help of a greyhound lover called Tracy they have made their way to us here in Sydney, with all the rescues in Victoria full. Sallianne was originally Sally but with another black Sally in our kennels we thought it might get a bit confusing for our volunteers!

Sallianne is a gorgeous looking black beauty who is very laid back. Just like every other greyhound, she loves those cuddles! She has not been tested with cats but was not fussed about spending time with some caveliers.

Although her birthday is the same as Nicky and is also a black beauty, they are not sisters. Sisters schmisters, I am sure they would make a greyt pair for those looking for 2!

At nearly 8 years old, it is time for Sallianne to find that furever home. She too, as been a mum and deserves to live out the rest of her life in a loving home. Greyhounds live to be about 14-15 so don’t let the age put you off! If you can give her a temporary home or better yet, a forever home, we would love to hear from you!

Sallianne is:

* 8 years old (dob Mar 05)

* desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested and treated

* located – Sydney

* adoption costs $300

*not cat friendly but shown no interest around small to medium sized dogs

    Sallianne is a beautiful, gentle soul who needs some tender loving care. Just wish I could take her home.

    Don’t let the eight year age fool you. I would of thought she was about 3 years old. Lovely friendly girl full of charm and life.

    I can’t believe this beautiful girl is still in kennels. I took her for a vet check soon after she came into GR. She was amazingly well behaved, travelled well in the car , checked out and then ignored the other dogs in the waiting room and let the vet check her out without any hesitation or concern. Walked like a dream on her leash.
    Despite being nine she behaves like a much younger dog and would be a fabulous pet. Old enough to be really sensible and young enough to be fun.
    Her colour might be black but her heart is gold.

    After feeling very down that Sallianne was still in kennels I am soooo happy to see she has gone on trial. Thank you Margaret for giving this beautiful dog a chance at another life. I hope the trial goes well for you both . She is a beautiful dog who deserves a forever home where she will be loved for the rest of her life.
