Lucky (Homed)

Lucky has found her family with Stephen and Laura!

Lucky is 8 this year, but this is hard to believe! She is extremely affectionate and is a bundle of energy! Lucky has adapted easily to living in our home with two other greyhounds. She has also lived with other breeds before while doing a bit of rehab for a missing toe (doesn’t slow her down any!).

Lucky has learnt beautiful lead manners, she is housebroken, is extremely good with children and loves to play and cuddle! This dog is pure sunshine, we can’t say enough good things about her!

Lucky has had a lot of interest and would have been homed many times if not for her mortal enemy, the cat!!! Because she loves people and company she would do best with a constant canine companion and lots of people company. Don’t miss out of meeting Lucky!

Lucky doesn’t like to brag, but she (and her foster brother King) is famous! Lucky was one of hounds featured in a piece on Greyhound Rescue on ‘the Project’.

Lucky is:

* Soon to be 8 years old (dob 06)

* desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested and treated

* located in Canberra (on holidays)

* adoption costs $300

    Lucky is a wonderful Girl who would thrive in a real home. She has coped very well with kennel life. She would be a very faithful and fun loving family Girl. Always well behaved.

    Lucky is one of the most affectionate greyhounds we have had. She just tries to curl up on my lap, she snuggles in and keeps trying to give you kisses. She gave Dr. Brown a few when she was sat on the couch next to him at channel 10. She timed it just right when he was saying ‘greyhounds make great pets’. I think she knew she was being filmed… I just love her to bits but she does need to go to ‘puppy school’ even at her age. She just wants to be with you and loves to have a play throwing up toys and trying to catch them.
