Emmy (adopted)

Poor little Emmy’s world was recently turned upside-down when her elderly
owner and constant companion was taken to a nursing home. Emmy found herself
back at the rescue kennels after many years as a much-loved family pet and
her little heart was completely broken.  Thankfully one of our Canberra
fosters, ‘Grandma Jan’ took pity on Emmy and decided to foster her, just to
get her out of the kennel.

Emmy has perked up considerably since being in a home (see the picture of
her roaching!) and she is now waiting patiently for the next chapter of her
life.  This beautiful girl is toilet trained, sleeps quietly through the
night and is generally a very low-maintenance girl. She is extremely
affectionate and wants for nothing more than to be cuddled and stroked. She
has a wonderful affinity with children and has been following Grandma Jan’s
grandchildren around trying to get pats!

Could somebody please give this lovely older girl a second chance?
