If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, you’ll be familiar with the fabulous Jujubee. Jujubee quickly captivated audiences thanks to her dedication to being her most authentic self. Much like her namesake, Jujubee the hound enchants people wherever she goes.
Jujubee, or Juju for short, “is a very loveable hound who loves people”, explain owners Ben and Josh. A bit of a charmer, a lover of pats, her sweet temperament means people tend to just fall in love with her.
“Juju has fit into the family very well” Ben and Josh say. “We could not imagine our lives without her.”
“She has wormed her way into everyone’s hearts.“
“When hosting friends, she is often found circling the group and stealing affection from the guests.”
Juju arrived at Greysland with some tail issues.
A case of happy tail had resulted in a partial amputation, which had failed to properly heal. Unfortunately, a loose piece of bone fragment meant the remainder had to be amputated. But testament to her resilience, it hasn’t put a damper on her fun-loving personality.
“Whilst she doesn’t have a tail, she is very animated and has no issues with telling us how she feels” say Ben and Josh.
“She loves getting out and about, and has worn a track in the backyard where she loves to run doing her zoomies.”
Ben and Josh believe greyhounds to be the most loveable of dogs, with a passionate community behind them.
They found the adoption process with Greyhound Rescue to be very personal, and don’t hesitate to recommend adopting a hound.
