Pet life is sweet for Honey the hound

Aug 25, 2020 | Success Stories

Honey (formerly Viola) was adopted by Brett and his family in November 2019 after a very short stay at the Greyhound Rescue kennels.

Brett says Honey, a beautiful little black girl with a white snout, chest and socks, has fitted into their family of four (now five!) perfectly.

“Greyhound Rescue were wonderful in matching Honey with us. She’s perfect for our family and our home. We highly recommend the thorough adoption process.”

According to Brett, Honey loves being outdoors with the family. He says she loves her walks and trips to the dog park but has VERY limited interest in running.

She’s even been on a couple of camping trips – talk about a sea change for this gorgeous girl!

“Honey enjoys spending time with our children and she is very protective of our three-year-old daughter.

“She’s also developed a cheeky little habit of nicking the kids food from the table – no matter how high we stash it!”

“She loves the bed time routine and listens intently to every bed time story that we read to the kids on their bed.”
