Cooper’s family knew he was the perfect fit

Aug 4, 2020 | Success Stories

Cooper, formally known as Mutsu, was introduced to Greig and Emily and their two boys in January 2020. We can hardly believe its been almost six months since this lovely, wildly photogenic boy found his forever home!

Greig says the family knew pretty early on in their first meeting with Cooper that he was the perfect fit for their family.

“Cooper showed us his very happy and energetic personality – exactly what our two young boys need in a furry friend,” said Greig.

“He knows when the sneakers go on, its walk time, and his tail wags uncontrollably.

“Along with walks, Cooper’s favourite activities are sun baking in our veggie patch, zooming around the backyard with his ball on a rope, nibbling on grass, and chasing possums out of the yard.

“Our boys joke that his middle name should be ‘shadow’ because he is constantly following us around the house. Cooper really loves company, pats and attention, and does not hesitate to lie on our feet as soon as we settle ourselves somewhere.

“Even in the kitchen! It isn’t that big and it feels even smaller when Cooper plonks himself sprawled out in the middle of the floor while we’re preparing meals … there’s no other option, we just have to step over him!

“When we brought Cooper home, his coat was very thin and dull, and in need of TLC. Now, after a few months of loving, he is perfect and so handsome.

“We are frequently stopped by people who want to meet him and fall in love with his temperament. We couldn’t have asked for a more sweet, loving, and beautiful natured companion. Thank you, Greyhound Rescue!
