Cosmo is a wonderfully loving greyhound and is always pleased to see us when we come home but is more than happy with his own company. He will always accept some cuddles and fuss but rarely comes looking for it. He is very well house trained and has never tried to get on the sofa or bed. He also passed the ‘greenhound’ test with flying colours.

He’s great on the lead but also loves being off-leash and happily trots alongside. Cosmo is not keen on long walks, so a short walk to the park with the occasional zoomie and he’s done for the day. He is gets on fine with other dogs, is actually scared of cats and not very keen on small children either!

He has recently learnt to swim and loves playing in the water at the local doggie beach and makes lots of friends, wherever he goes.

Cosmo is only 6 but would love a nice quiet, chilled out house with plenty of company.

Cosmo is:

* 6 years old

* desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested and treated

* microchipped

    Cosmo stands patiently watching as I work around the kennels. He never cries or barks. Very handsome boy.

    Hi, we have a small dog Bella who is 10 years old – jack rus/maltese. We had a beautiful boy Bruno who was a 12 yr old staffy and he passed less than a month ago. Devastated. But I hope that good can come out of bad and I would like to adopt an older male dog. Bella needs a friend as she has never been alone and we need a new energy in our house. I am a huge dog lover and would adopt many dogs if I could. We have a pool (well fenced) and I am paranoid of a dog jumping or digging (bruno drowned!!). So a couple of questions, firstly how is Cosmo with little dogs and secondly does he jump or dig!

    I would like a greyhound as it couldn’t be more opposite of my staffy.

    We have 5 children but they are all young adults and have left home. Any new pet would be indoor/ourdoor (doggy door) and walked every day.

    What are your thoughts?
    thank you
