Want to sponsor me and the other kennel kids?

Hi, I’m Mini!

And yes, the name fits. I’m Mini by name, and Mini by tail! I’m missing half of it, but I’m told it only adds to my adorableness, especially when it’s wagging. It’s cute, it’s memorable, and it matches me perfectly.

I’m a fun, friendly little brindle girl with a big personality and an excellent sense of timing. When you come to my kennel, I like to sit and greet you like the polite young lady I am. I can also sit on command, which is not only impressive, but apparently extremely rare. Personally, I think it’s important to have both skills and style.

I’m also very food-motivated, which means I take snacks very seriously. While I’m waiting for a treat, I do the most delightful little chatters and chompies, just in case anyone was in danger of forgetting how adorable I am. The upside of all this treat enthusiasm is that I’d probably be very fun to train: I’ve clearly got the brains, the motivation, and the willingness to participate.

I’m playful too, and I like to give all the squeaky toys a proper test run before deciding which one deserves my attention most. Quality control matters. I’m very alert, very interested in what’s going on around me, and always keen to be part of the action. I’m the sort of girl who likes to know what everyone is doing and whether it might involve fun, snacks, or both.

When it comes to other dogs, I’m a social little thing and am keen to make friends, especially with medium and bigger dogs. I’d likely be wonderful with another hound. Little dogs can still get me a bit overexcited, so I’ll need a bit more practice there, but I’m a friendly girl who means well and is keen to learn.

I’m ready for a forever home with lovely humans, big or small (over 5 please), who will appreciate my sweet and playful nature, my excellent sitting skills and my first-class treat chompies.

So if your home is missing one cheeky little brindle girl with a mini tail and a maxi personality, I think I may be exactly who you’re looking for.

Love, Mini
