Public Service Announcement: Please do not show this profile to any pre-schooler or millennial parent deeply devoted to ABC Kids… unless you’re prepared for some very big conversations.
Because yes. I am a hound named Bluey. And yes… I am a boy.
Somewhere along the line, the naming department may have had only a casual relationship with Australian television lore. But honestly? I think I wear it well.
Unlike my animated counterpart from Bluey, I don’t live in Brisbane and I can’t play Keepy Uppy for 22 straight minutes — but I am funny, smart, kind, and extremely good at being a best friend.
I’m a very affectionate lad who loves cuddles and being close to my people. If you sit down, I will likely appear beside you. If you lie down, I will absolutely consider joining you. Proximity to humans? 10/10, highly recommend.
I’m impressively toilet trained (gold star for me) and I’ll even let you know when I need to head outside. Communication king.
When it comes to other dogs, I’m gentle and friendly with everyone — big, small, fluffy, zoomy — we’re all mates here. I’m also wonderful with children, making me the rare Bluey who is both child-approved and not animated.
My hobbies include:
• Short walks (efficient and stylish)
• Play sessions (yes, I will chase a ball)
• Expert-level lounging (I am still a greyhound, after all)
• Settling beautifully and sleeping like it’s an Olympic sport
I’m great with baths, vet visits, and everyday handling. I respond to basic cues and would happily learn more — I’m clever, after all.
So whether you’re looking for a gender-bending Aussie icon, a conversation starter at the dog park, or simply an astoundingly handsome, sweet-natured best mate… I’m your boy. No theme song required.
