Duck

Hi! I’m Duck.

I’m a 5-year-old beautiful black greyhound, and yes… my name makes perfect sense once you meet me. I have a very special foot that looks a little bit like a duck flipper after an old degloving injury I had a while ago. It’s part of what makes me unique! The good news is it doesn’t bother me much at all, and it certainly doesn’t stop me from enjoying life.

Sometimes you might see me do a little hop on my duck foot, but I still get around just fine. I’m far more interested in the important things in life, like exploring the world, finding comfy spots, and collecting as many pats as possible from my humans.

I’m a sweet, gentle girl who loves spending time with people. I enjoy wandering around to see what’s going on and then coming back for a cuddle or some affection. I’ve got a lovely, kind nature and would make a beautiful companion for someone looking for a calm but curious girl.

I also get along really well with other greyhounds and am happy to share my space with them. Little dogs don’t seem to bother me either, I’m more focused on doing my own thing and soaking up all the love I can get.

My special foot might make me a little different, but I think it just makes me extra memorable. I’m ready to find a forever family who will love me just the way I am.
