The cute as a button Jazz found her forever home with Jason and Ashlee. We checked in with them to see how Jazz has settled into her new life.
“Jazz (or Jazzlyn as we like to call her) has settled in at her new home,” says Jason. “She now has five beds and spends her days exploring the apartment for enrichment that we have left for her. She loves a nap and is always by your side when we are at home.”
Walks were a big challenge early on for Jason and Ashlee, but they are happy to say that with time Jazz turned a corner.
“Our biggest challenge with Jazz was getting her to go on walks,” Jason explains. “It took 32 nights in a row before she would make it around the block. This was a very exciting moment for her and us, when she finally was ready to be walked during the day to the corner of the dog park!”
Jason and Ashlee learned pretty quickly that Jazz was an early riser, wanting to jump into bed and snuggle up between them around 4am every morning.
“Knowing that she just wants to be close to us and feel love, we decided that being woken up a little earlier is definitely worth having her beautiful face looking up at you.”
“Greyhounds are beautiful animals that want to be close to you, and our Jazzlyn likes to remind us to give her scratches whenever she feels like she hasn’t had enough love for the day.”
