Remember those gorgeous little unicorns, also known as puppies, that arrived at Greysland just over a year ago? Well those puppies are now charismatic teens, and Zuma, (formerly known as Brit) is still a bundle of fun. She is happily living life with her dad Thomas, one of our amazing volunteers, partner Shane and two Dachshund siblings.
Here are six fun facts about Zuma!
- Zuma’s dad says she is hilariously adorable, and we don’t disagree!
- Zuma has two favourite things – the beach and day care.
- A character in more ways than one, for some strange reason it often looks like Zuma’s tongue is stuck on random objects. Thankfully it’s always a false alarm.
- Her dad’s favourite time is when they are snuggling on the lounge.
- Zuma and her two senior dachshund siblings love soaking up the sun together.
- And lastly, her pawrents are obsessed with her!
Thomas says that watching Zuma “grow from a puppy has been special”. And for anyone thinking about adopting a greyhound or any other breed, he believes it’s important to make sure you have the time to both spend with them and to set them up for success.
