Almost 12 months since leaving the Greyhound Rescue kennels, George (FKA Longboi George) has well and truly made himself part of the fabric of his furever family.
“George is a very placid boy who loves pats, but will go super goofy at the most random and unexpected of times!” said furdad, Sean.
“He’s a sucker for pats and demands them from everyone that comes through the front door and he has definitely enriched the lives of our two boys.”
George’s favourite thing to do is head out on a family ride around the neighbourhood, during which a chorus of ‘Gorgeous George!’ always rings out from members of his neighbourhood fan club.
“Our experience with Greyhound Rescue was exceptional – I truly can’t say enough nice things.
“The level of communication leading up to adoption and then immediately following was incredible. I think their level of consideration for matching hounds and owners was phenomenal.
“If you’re thinking of adopting a greyhound, 100% do it. They are so loving and affectionate and will bring an added ray of sunshine to your home.”
