We’ve got some unicorns!

Mar 17, 2021 | Events

Greyhound puppies are sometimes referred to as “unicorns” because it is so rare to see them

We’ve just picked up a whole litter of unwanted pups and they need a bit of extra care. Their little bellies are all full of worms and a couple of them aren’t in the best of health. They’ve all seen the vet today for a thorough check, and we’ve arranged emergency foster care for the neediest pups.

Basic veterinary care such a vaccination, microchipping, and desexing will cost a lot for a whole litter of pups, and it looks like a few of these dear babies may need additional care and treatment. To make a tax deductible donation please visit: https://donorbox.org/greyhound-rescue

We are crossing our fingers that there are no long-term issues for these eight adorable babies and that they just need some TLC, but it looks like a couple of them might need some work done on their mouths when their adult teeth grow in as they have little overbites. While the overbites are adorable now, they may have some issues with their canine teeth clashing with their gums or palate.
