In truly mind-blowing news, donors at Petbarn stores across Sydney have raised an incredible $45,185 for Greyhound Rescue as part of the Petbarn Foundation Tree of Hope Fundraising Appeal 2020.
As an organisation that relies largely on fundraising and donations to meet the high costs of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds no longer wanted by the racing industry, this donation is truly life changing for us at Greyhound Rescue.
These funds will enable us to continue to build safe, high-quality training spaces and purchase the equipment that is absolutely essential for rehabilitating and rehoming these beautiful hounds, who would otherwise have no option.
We cannot express our gratitude enough to the store staff and the generous supporters who dug deep during what was an incredibly difficult year for many.
