Hi, I’m Selsabeel.

Selsabeel is a beautiful Arabic name meaning sweet and gently flowing fountain, and I think you’ll agree it suits me perfectly — because I am exactly that. A constant, gentle flow of sweetness that will move quietly into your home and heart and before you know it, you’re completely surrounded. That’s just how fountains work.

I’m a four-year-old black girl with a very distinguished frost on my snoot, which I have been told is extremely cute and which I have chosen to wear with great elegance. I am essentially a sleek black supermodel who has been lightly dusted with charm.

I am also, and I say this with full self-awareness, quite silly. I don’t know how to explain it exactly — I’m just a girl who finds life delightful and occasionally does things that make everyone in the room laugh and I choose to take that as a compliment. Silly and sweet is a very good combination if you think about it. I think about it often.

I am wonderful with other dogs, excellent with kids who are five and up, and deeply, thoroughly affectionate with basically everyone I meet. I will win you over. It is not a question of if, only of how quickly. The answer is usually immediately.

I am by all accounts a very good girl and I would like a home where someone tells me that regularly, because I will never get tired of hearing it.
