Kennel Kid Alum Leo found his forever home with Ramsie & Glenn. Formerly known as Cattalus while residing at Greysland, Ramsie and Glenn are happy to say that Leo these days lives with a “permanent grin on his face”.
Leo fit into family life with Ramsie, Glenn and their existing resident hound Orion perfectly.
“They are actually the perfect dogs,” says Ramsie.
“I can’t speak highly enough of the greyhound breed. There’s always an adjustment at the beginning but give them a chance and you’ll never look back.”
A bit of a goofball, Leo “loves to grab one of anything and take it to his bed, never chews it, just puts it in his bed – hats/shoes/socks, the list goes on”.
He adores his walks, loving any opportunity to explore his neighbourhood.
After successfully adopting their two greyhounds, there is no doubt in Ramsie and Glenn’s minds that anyone thinking about it should do the same.
“DO IT!” Ramsie says. “They are the best dogs.”
And when it comes to adopting from Greyhound Rescue, they also highly recommend the process.
“Matching the greyhound to the lifestyle and home arrangement of the potential adopter is very smart,” says Ramsie.
“It has worked without issue for us, twice!”
