The Pet Insurance Australia Companion Animal Rescue Awards are back for 2021 and are calling for adopted pawrents and foster carers to share their happy ‘tails’ of successful greyhound adoption or foster.
In last year’s awards, Greyhound Rescue took home the Outstanding Rescue Group award. Our incredible volunteer coordinator Shelley Tinworth was also awarded the fiercely contested Volunteer of the Year award.
While we will no doubt be throwing our hat in the ring again this year, we’d love for some of our incredible fosters and adopters to nominate themselves and the hounds in their care for the Foster Carer Story and the People’s Rescue Story awards.
Not only do you get to tell the world how amazing greyhounds are and how much you love your houndie, you’ll also be in the running to win a pawsome prize pack worth $1400!
We know there are some beautiful greyhound-human love stories out there (check out our ‘Success Stories’ if you feel like a happy cry!) so if you’ve fostered or adopted a hound and your lives have both been changed for the better, jump on the Rescue Awards website and share your story now!
