While 2020 did a number on a lot of us, it didn’t go so badly for darling Pat. This little, dark brindle girl finally found her rightful place – at the centre of Gian and Jason’s world!
“As I write this, Pat is currently sleeping on the couch – the one we said she wouldn’t be allowed on – after going for her morning walk,” said Pat’s mum Gian.
“Pat’s favourite things are mum and dad, getting pats from strangers on walks and beach time.
“There’s a beach near us and she LOVES the water, but only if there are no waves. Her favourite thing to do is find a good puddle or spot in the lake and flop herself into it. We bought her a shell pool … but apparently that doesn’t cut it!
“We recently had a friend move into the studio downstairs at our place and with him came his 11-year-old Border Collie Lilly.
“Pat and Lilly tolerated each other at the start, but now they are best buds. Pat has made a habit of hoarding ALL her toys on her bed so that their always close by for her and Lilly to play with.
“Pat’s doing so great and she was without a doubt the best thing to come out of 2020,” said Gian.
