Pet life not too shabby for Nala

Dec 12, 2020 | Success Stories

Nala arrived at Greyhound Rescue in April 2020. With her gorgeous, little face and cheeky personality, she was hit with the vollies from day dot!

After a short stay at the kennels, Nala (formerly Heidi) trotted off into domestic bliss with her new mum, Sherry.

“Nala is wonderful. She’s completely settled into our home and we couldn’t imagine life without her,” said Sherry.

“‘Walk’ is her favourite word in the world – closely followed by ‘food’ and ‘car’!

“She loves peanut butter, dental sticks, couch snuggles, roaching, and her Greyhound Rescue rainbow unicorn toy.

We’ll never get over how resilient these beautiful hounds can be. According to Sherry, Nala has remained her happy, cheeky self throughout the adoption process.

“She’s a very happy girl with so much personality. She’ll shake her head when she’s excited and spins in circles when it’s food time. She also tells me that it’s time to stop working everyday by laying next to my office chair at 5pm on the dot.

“She loves meeting other dogs but is even more excited to get pats from their humans. Our friends, family and neighbours all adore her!
