Pickles (Homed)

Pickles is kindly sponsored by Karen.

“I’m Pickles by name and pickles by nature…I’m a black greyhound and I like to have fun! There’s nothing better than doing zoomies around the yard, chasing toys, and showing off how fast I can move! I’m looking for a family that wants to have plenty of fun too. I get a bit too excited around cats so it would be best if your house doesn’t have any of those. Meh, who needs a cat when you could have me? Did I mention I’m just a little pickle? I’m quite small, and I wouldn’t take up much room. The problem is, there’s lots of cute greyhounds at Greyhound Rescue at the moment, and a lot of them are black too. We always get picked last if we’re black, I guess we just don’t stand out enough. But I bet you would like a shiny black greyhound though wouldn’t you? You would?! Well if you think I might pickle…I mean tickle your fancy can you get onto the computer and email the volunteers at GR? They would love to hear from you!” info@greyhoundrescue.com.au

Remi (Cat Tolerant) (Homed)

Remi is kindly sponsored by Sue.

” I’m Remi and I’m small and cute as a button! I don’t take up much room, I quite like kids, and I passed my cat test so I have the potential to live with kitties if you have either of those at your house.I love to play quite a lot and consider myself a bit of a puppy still. I would much rather race around a garden or race to the couch than race around a track. Do you have a couch I could put my paws on? I hear every greyhound needs one of those and I haven’t been on one yet, and I’m only nearly three. My birthday is in May, so maybe you could give me one as a birthday present? You could? Quick! Get onto those volunteers at GR info@greyhoundrescue.com.au”

Sunny Boy (Cat Tolerant) (homed)

Sunny Boy is kindly sponsored by Jillian.

“They call me Sunny Boy ‘cos I’ve got a golden coat that looks like the sun and I’m sunny natured! I really like to goof off and play jokes on the volunteers – I’ll zoom towards them like I’m going to cannon into them and then I turn away at the last second and laugh my head off at my joke! I passed my cat test so I have potential to live with them. They seem ok, not as cool as us dogs if you know what I mean but I could deal with them as a housemate. The main thing I would like in a home is a loving family to have fun with me, and appreciate my sense of humour. Could that be you?! Get in touch with  the volunteers at GR if you would like to know more about me or any of my buddies waiting for a home: info@greyhoundrescue.com.au

Jackson (Homed)

Jackson is kindly sponsored by Shelley & Belinda.

“I’m Jackson and I’m a pretty cool kinda guy. I’m pretty happy to give out cuddles and chill out with you. I like to think I’m the one that you can rely on to sit back and listen to what you have to say about your day. I’m not judgemental – I don’t mind that you’ve put your foot in dog poo or smell a bit funky, I’m interested in what you’ve been up to and I’ll still give you a big kiss anyway! I’m  a bit unsure about those cat things, and not too keen on those small things that call themselves dogs, but if you have a house that is cat free and small dog free do you think I could come live with you?! You do?! then get in touch with the GR volunteers! info@greyhoundrescue.com.au”

Zara (Cat Tolerant) (Homed)

Zara is kindly sponsored by Jennifer.

“They call me Zoomie Zara…because I zoom around looking at everything! See these ears? They do tricks! See my eyes? I’m always on the lookout for something interesting. In fact, I heard someone say that I’m a bit of a nosy parker and would be pretty good at Neighbourhood Watch. I’m not sure what that means exactly but I’m sure it means I would be pretty useful to have around the house. Can you imagine me sitting on your sofa, and poking my nose out between the curtains to find out what everyone’s doing in your town?  I hear every word on the street around these digs. I’m currently in foster with four other doggies, these funny little dogs called cats, chickens, and a duck. According to my foster mummy it makes me super special to get along with these cat things. I would also really love a doggy friend to be with, I like company and snuggling up to my foster brother. If you think you have the home for me  get in touch with those volunteers at GR info@greyhoundrescue.com.au to meet me or one of my friends!”

Zara is:

  • DOB 29.3.10

Terence (Homed)

Terence is kindly sponsored by Nicole.

“My name is Terence and I’m a pretty cool dude looking for a forever home. I love to play in the yard with the toys and zoom after the ball, but in my opinion balls are for humans to throw and me to chase, if I brought it back to you, you wouldn’t have much to do now would you? I’m always well dressed in my glossy black coat, and I don’t want to blow my own horn here people, but I make plenty of ladies swoon! If you want to have everyone stop and stare at the best dressed dog in town (oh, and you of course) then you need to contact those nice people at GR and get them to set us up on a date! info@greyhoundrescue.com.au

Terence is:

  • DOB 16.12.12
  • Desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested and treated
  • Located in Sydney
  • Not cat tolerant
  • Adoption cost:$350
