Plankton
4 year old male
Hi there, the name's Plankton.
Plankton by name, but certainly not by nature. For starters, I much prefer living on land than drifting around in the ocean.
I'm a smooth and ridiculously good-looking blue boy—think bottlenose dolphin, but with considerably more inches in the snoot department.
I'm still a young guy and am discovering all the fabulous things life has to offer. One of my greatest passions is FOOD. And honestly, who can blame me? I love it so much that my gourmet meals are now served in something called a slow feeder, which, apparently, is designed to stop me inhaling dinner in record time. Seems a bit unnecessary if you ask me.
Food isn't my only great love, though. I also love LIFE. Life is pretty fantastic, and I'm determined to make the most of it. If your idea of a good time involves walks, toys, zoomies and generally having fun, then I think we're going to get along just fiiiine.
I've also discovered that people—good people, anyway—are pretty wonderful. Even more so if they happen to arrive carrying treats. Treats are the quickest way to my heart and the secret to cementing a lifelong friendship. I'm a sweet, affectionate boy who is always happy to accept pats, cuddles and a healthy amount of admiration.
Like lots of ex-racing greyhounds, I'm still learning that it's okay to spend a little time on my own. I'm making great progress, and one thing that's really helped is enrichment. Keeping my busy brain occupied means I don't spend quite so much time wondering where everyone has gone. With a little time, love and patience, I'm sure I'll keep building my confidence and become an even more relaxed and happy member of the family.
I'd be happy living with kind children over five who understand that I'll need a little space and a calm environment while I settle into home life. And while I'm always keen to meet other dogs, I think I'd do best as the only dog in my new home so I can focus on learning all the important pet-life skills.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!
