Hey there, fabulous humans! I’m Lola — a sleek black beauty with a built-in mohawk and a heart as big as my zoomies. That adorable little stripe down my back? It’s not just fur… it’s fashion. And yes, I do expect compliments. Frequently.

I’m a sweet, sensitive, and sometimes gloriously goofy girl who’s still learning about this whole “pet life” thing. The couch? Magical. Treats? Life-changing. The outside world? A little bit overwhelming right now.

I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with kind, patient humans who can help me build my confidence at my own pace. I’d really benefit from a larger home with a yard, and a safe, cosy space I can retreat to when things feel a bit big. My bed is my favourite place in the world — it’s where I feel the safest.

I can still be a little sensitive with some everyday things, so I really appreciate gentle encouragement and a calm, supportive environment. I’m learning to feel more confident each day and am starting to explore more as I grow braver in my own time — especially when there are snacks involved!

New people out in the world and busy environments can be quite scary for me, but at home I’m learning that visitors aren’t so bad after all. With patience and gentle guidance, I’m slowly starting to feel more comfortable.

I would do best in a home without children and as the only dog. While I can navigate some dog interactions, I can be selective and sometimes get a bit silly and overexcited around other dogs, especially off lead. A calm, predictable environment where I can truly relax will help me thrive.

Even though I can be a bit shy, there are lots of things I absolutely love. Chicken is my number one favourite (I definitely know that word!), and cream cheese is a very close second. I also really enjoy enrichment games and food puzzles, and I’m discovering that pats are actually pretty wonderful — especially ear rubs and gentle shoulder massages.

I’m very food motivated, which is helping me learn and grow every day. With the right home — one that offers understanding, consistency, and kindness — I’m going to continue blossoming into a confident, happy girl.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion and you’re willing to give me the time and space I need to feel safe, I promise it will be so worth it. 💛
