Hi, I’m Amor!

I’m a beautiful 2-year-old girl with a blue-grey coat and the cutest white patch on my chest. Now, when someone bestows upon you a name like Amor, which means love, you must take it seriously. You can't just wander around with a name like that and be lukewarm about things. So I haven't. I've committed fully, and I contain multitudes of squeaky toys’ worth of enthusiasm!

I am, by all accounts, a hopeless romantic. I fall for toys at first sight. I fall for dinner every single time, and I’ve never met a snack pouch I could resist. I fall for the game of fetch with the devotion of someone who has never once considered that the ball might not come back. And I fall for people almost instantly, usually somewhere between "hello" and "would you like to pat my ears." Speaking of ears, mine are very special. They are adorable floppy and so soft they've reportedly made people forget their words mid-sentence.

Here's the thing about love, though: it's best if it goes both ways. And in my experience, it does. People meet me and something happens: their eyes soften and I can practically see their heart melting! I have seen it happen enough times to know it's not a fluke. I'm not saying I'm irresistible, I'm just saying nobody's resisted yet. I didn't plan to be so gorgeous, I just showed up this way.

A few honest notes, because I think you deserve those: Given I’m just a young pup, I do have some growing up to do. I'm best in an only-hound situation for now while I work on my manners around other dogs, and I'd flourish in a home with kids over five who can match my energy without me knocking them over in the process.
