We love a good ‘Success Story’, especially in December as we look back on a challenging but rewarding year of finding forever homes for greyhounds in NSW.
Sirius lived up to his name when he first arrived at Greyhound Rescue – a cautious boy who was a little nervous about all the new sights, sounds and smells at Greysland. He was lucky enough to find a home with Hugh and Erica who recently gave us an update on this beautiful boy.
“Sirius is doing very well and we’re extremely happy we chose to adopt him! He’s still quite nervous on walks and in unfamiliar situations, but he’s very relaxed and happy around the home.
“He’s an extremely friendly and good natured boy who loves his meals, naps and scratches under the chin.
“Due to his overbite you can often find him asleep on his bed with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth.
“We love having him in our family, and anyone who comes to visit our home is totally smitten.
“Greyhound Rescue did a fantastic job of pairing us with Sirius, and we’re extremely glad to have him in our life!”
