After a couple of false starts, Prima found her forever home with Lisa and Jo-Ann, and two charming resident houndies Moonie and Red.
The delightful Prima has now been living in her forever home for just over a year.
When Lisa & Jo-Ann first took her home as a foster, it didn’t take long to find out how much love Prima had to give.
“Prima is a very loving girl,” says Lisa. “She is cuddly and playful.”
She also has a little bit of a cheeky side, and can quite often be found demanding her sister Moonie plays with her. In fact, playing with Moonie is Prima’s favourite thing to do!
“They chase each other and run from the back yard through the doggie door, up the hall and come to a sliding stop on the rug,” says Lisa.
Despite an instant connection with her new pawrents and fur-siblings, Prima had to learn to share her toys and space in her new home.
Lisa says that now Prima “has learnt to trust and let her personality really shine”.
Lisa and Jo-Ann cannot recommend adopting a grey more highly.
“DO IT,” says Lisa. “Adopt.”
“You will never regret it, even when the first few months has ups and downs.”
“Greyhounds are amazing creatures. They have so much love to give and share. You may think you are rescuing them – they are also rescuing you.”
