It’s been six months since Rob met Noodle, the noodle-iest of all noodles at the Greyhound Rescue kennels.
Rob (who says he no longer has a name – he’s just “Noodle’s dad”) says Noodle has slotted into his life like a dream.
“My friends and colleagues love her. My clients want to meet her. My mum makes her clothes. My sisters dog loves her, and there are greyhound people all around my area. I’m pretty lucky,” said Rob.
“She came out of her shell in about 2 months, I think, but I haven’t had any difficulty at all.
“She’s perfectly suited to my small-sized apartment – so quiet and lazy.”
According to Rob, Noodle is quiet, gentle and smiley. She loves attention, walks, squeaky toys and food!
“She loves hiding toys and treats in her nest, and then promptly falling asleep! She also insists on making me run to her nest to give her cuddles and shake her hand when I get home from work.
“I was lucky to get Noods at the perfect time prior to the whole COVID thing. She’s been a fabulous companion for me and is much loved by my family, my friends, around Surry Hills and in our local pet stores!
“The Greyhound Rescue process was great – so thorough. All I can say is thank you very much!
“Greyhounds deserve a lot of love (and a lot of toys!)”
