Oh um, hi there. I’m Gus and … will you be my friend?
Do you remember that kid at school? The one who’d always want to be mates but just wasn’t sure how? He tried and tried, but just didn’t get it right? Maybe you were the kind classmate who took the time to hang out with him, to let him learn from you, to make sure he didn’t have to sit alone at lunchtime?
Well, I’m a bit like that kid. I’m a young boy and my social skills with other dogs are a little skewiff! I have bundles of energy – just look at me zoom – but new situations can make me kinda nervous. I think if I had someone like you to guide me, someone with a kind heart, I’ll find who I am in no time and find loads of doggy buddies! Plus, I’ll have a brand-new bestie in you!
I’d love to come join your family. Just think of the fun we’ll have! If you have kids, it’s best they’re older. Let’s say over 12.
I have a little discomfort in one leg from a previous injury but don’t worry; I won’t let that stop me! The wonderful people at Greysland are helping me sort that out and will be able to give you all the information you need.
So, what do you think? Can I play with you?
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, fill out an application form and the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue will get on the case. Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way. Get in touch to find out more!
PS - want a free bag of food if you adopt me? Just enquire via my SavourLife Profile. For every finalised adoption through the page, SavourLife will give Greyhound Rescue a donation and you a free bag of food!
