Availability

Volunteer agreement

• I authorise Greyhound Rescue staff to seek emergency medical treatment for me if necessary.
• I agree to abide by Greyhound Rescue’s Policies and Procedures and take directions from the Executive Committee, staff, and senior volunteers during my period as a volunteer.
• I understand that my assistance may be terminated at any time at the discretion of Greyhound Rescue.
• I understand that I am not covered by Greyhound Rescue’s insurance in cases where I have been negligent and/or failed to follow directions from staff, senior volunteers, or the Executive Committee.
• I offer my services to Greyhound Rescue as a volunteer contribution, and agree to abide by all reasonable requests and requirements by the organisation including:
  • Privacy: I will protect the privacy of all parties to the best of my ability and in accordance with Greyhound Rescue's Privacy Policy.
  • Confidentiality: I will keep all information, knowledge and intellectual property associated with Greyhound Rescue confidential. I will not use or disclose to any person any confidential information. This will include conversations on websites or the posting of any untrue information about Greyhound Rescue.
  • Intellectual Property: I agree that any photographs or materials contributed to or pertaining to Greyhound Rescue during my time as a volunteer will remain the property of Greyhound Rescue.
  • I agree to report concerns to the Executive Committee, staff, or senior volunteer immediately.
  • Conflict of Interest: I will declare any conflict of interest.
  • Volunteer Attendance: I am currently able to commit to a four-hour shift once a week, fortnight, or month and agree to notify the Volunteer Coordinator should this change.
