Lynn & Trevor adopted Kalarni over a year ago and she is now a much loved member of the family. Find out a little bit about Kalarni’s new life below.
Tell us about Kalarni:
Kalarni is gentle and affectionate and she loves her toys. She can be very playful and she is also food orientated and will pinch it if not safely stored away. She enjoys her walks and wants to say hello to everyone.
Does Kalarni love her pats?
That’s a resounding yes! She enjoys a cuddle and will paw at you if you stop stroking her. She especially loves sneaking into the bedroom to hop on the bed for cuddles.
Any notable moments with Kalarni?
Unpacking grocery bags and not realising she had pinched a loaf of bread! Thankfully, she didn’t quite manage to eat the full loaf.
How has she fit into your family?
She has fit into our family perfectly and is so good with our grandchildren.
Would you recommend adopting a greyhound?
I would recommend a greyhound as a pet, and the process as you aim to find the perfect fit for your family. Greyhound Rescue was helpful in providing advice on enrichment toys and routine when I was trying to sleep in the daytime after working night shift.
