“Fun loving, affectionate, energetic, smart”. That’s Penny, says pawrent and long-time Greyhound Rescue volunteer David.
In true greyhound fashion, Penny’s favourite things are her food and her zoomies.
And her new family of course!
Formerly known as My Girl, Penny is also little sister to Mindy, a 10-year-old greyhound and Greyhound Rescue alum, and Ralf, an 11-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer.
“I have two other dogs – Mindy and Ralf,” says David.
“There was a fair bit of argy-bargy as they established their relationships but it never escalated beyond growling. Now that they have settled, her youthful energy has given the other two a new lease of life.”
“Penny is very playful and has reminded the other dogs and me to express joy! My life can get a bit serious at times so this has been wonderful.”
