It’s been just over a year since Holly found her forever home with GR volunteer Charlotte, and partner Gregor. They say Holly has had such a positive impact on their lives.
A little unsure about the outside world at first, it didn’t take long for Holly to feel completely at home with her new pawrents.
“Holly is a super affectionate and playful girl,” says Charlotte. “She has fitted in really well, and it’s difficult to remember what life was like before her.”
“She is friendly towards everyone she meets.”
“Holly loves nothing more than a road trip, even if it’s just to the local supermarket! As soon as she hears the jingle of the car keys she races to the garage and eagerly waits to jump into the car.”
She also has a knack for finding toys!
“Holly managed to find the hidden soft toy stash at our friend’s house….and made several attempts to take them home with her (much to the dismay of their little boy).”
And while Charlotte and Gregor don’t know much about her life before Greyhound Rescue, they are delighted with how much she has grown in confidence during her time with them.
“It’s such a rewarding experience,” Charlotte explains, “and we would do it again in a heartbeat.”
