Hiya, I’m Quokka. Here are some facts about those cute little critters called quokkas:
1. They can smile.
2. They can climb trees.
3. They regurgitate their food…and eat it again!
Now, here are some facts about this Quokka – me!
1. I’m a little sensitive and can be nervous in new environments and situations.
2. I’m ok with small dogs and am working my way up to being great with them! I’d love to play!
3. I’m a silly, goofy girl sometimes! I can’t hide my excitement – I get all wiggly and happy.
Oh, and there’s a number 4 too. I sometimes limp or drag my back foot. A nerve was accidentally hit during my desexing. Don’t worry; it’s annoying, but not a huge deal. The wonderful volunteers will chat with you about it when you meet me!
So, when can that be, do you reckon? Because once you’re in my life I’m pretty sure I’ll be smiling too.
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, fill out an application form and the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue will get on the case. Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way. Get in touch to find out more!
PS - want a free bag of food if you adopt me? Just enquire via my SavourLife Profile. For every finalised adoption through the page, SavourLife will give Greyhound Rescue a donation and you a free bag of food!
