Hurricane
5 year old male
Hey hey, I’m Hurricane! And I am ready to breeze into your life, like the winds of change. A clean sweep, a refreshing gust, like the famous Southerly after a hot summer day. Not to blow my own horn or anything, but I’m pretty good with these wind-related metaphors. I’m not kidding, I could be just the breath of fresh air that your family needs!
I love kids but I’m still learning about personal space, so older and dog-confident kids are best for me. When it comes to other dogs, I’m okay with them but maybe you can help me work on my manners? Hurricanes, after all, are not known for polite greetings! With other dogs who are medium size or bigger, I’m still learning to be comfy as I might get a bit startled. And if I’m startled, you’ll hear about it. Hurricanes aren’t known for being quiet about their feelings, after all.
I’m a bigger boy with a lot of love and affection to give, so I hope you’ll give me a chance! We can go to the park or the beach, we can cuddle and I’ll tell you now, I will happily take all the pats and ear rubs you can spare! It would be bliss, don’t you think? Picture it: you come home after a tiring day doing human things, barbecue chicken in hand, ready for a relaxing evening at home. You open the door and I meet you there, so happy to see you. Instantly, you feel better! Refreshed! I lean on your legs while you get dinner on the plate, ready to scoop up any falling chicken because I’m just so helpful like that. What a team we could be!
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, fill out an application form and the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue will get on the case. Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way. Get in touch to find out more!
PS - want a free bag of food if you adopt me? Just enquire via my SavourLife Profile. For every finalised adoption through the page, SavourLife will give Greyhound Rescue a donation and you a free bag of food!
