Veronica
2 year old female
Hi, I’m Veronica! And if you decide to bring me into your home you’ll be one and done!
I’m told I’m the loveliest girl and I’ll be all you need, you see. I’m ready to soak up every little bit of love you’re able to give and I’ve plenty to give in return too! Just wait, we’ll be the best of friends!
I can be a little excitable and/or freezy initially, but I do settle, and will continue to improve at this with your help.
Now, the thing is I have lots of feelings about other dogs. I can be a bit selective but let’s just call it discerning. I’m definitely improving though! And with your assistance will continue to do so!.
Ideally your home will be on the quieter side, or you can at least set aside an area for me. Busy places are just a bit too overwhelming.
Having said this, I am totally capable of learning to take it in my stride! According to the volunteers at Greysland, I am very trainable – I just need gentle exposure to this big wide world of ours.
Kids aged five or older are A-OK with me.
So what do you think? Are you ready to meet the only hound you’ll ever need?
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, fill out an application form and the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue will get on the case. Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way. Get in touch to find out more!
PS - want a free bag of food if you adopt me? Just enquire via my SavourLife Profile. For every finalised adoption through the page, SavourLife will give Greyhound Rescue a donation and you a free bag of food!
