Sometimes a quiet area is just what the doctor ordered when helping your greyhound gain confidence and learn to enjoy their walks. Here are a few places we’ve found to be ideal locations when you’re looking for solitude on your walk.
Success Stories
The Exuberant Chick
You may remember the renowned artwork ‘Nood Descending a Staircase’, painted by a beloved Kennel Kid named Chick. It was so great, it was even signed by British comedian and musician, Bill Bailey. We’re pleased to say that artist Chick is happily living in his forever home, with Brian and Pam.
Annie the Smoocher
When Kia and Jacqui applied to adopt a greyhound with their housemate Phoebe, they were expecting “a large, muscular, independent doggo”. Then they met teeny tiny Annie, their pointy-eared smoocher.
Popper & Sandy Focus on Everything Good
Quickly adapting to his inner-city life with Sandy, Popper has brought with him much fun and laughter.
Goofy Grohl
A “loving, big ol’ goof ball who just wants to be everybody’s friend,” the beautiful Grohl is living his best life with his new family. Grohl found his forever home last year with Greer, Mitchell, and resident hound Chip, also a fellow Greyhound Rescue Kennel Kid.
Roley Rolls Into Forever
Roley found his forever home with Catherine and David after a few false starts in his journey to pet life. The most important thing Catherine and David learnt, was to give Roley time. Time they gave him, and they now find it impossible to imagine life without him.
