Stephen (homed)

Hi there, the name’s Stephen – you might notice I have the cutest overbite you’ve ever seen! Personally, I think it adds to my charm. I’m a quiet-natured and sweet boy who’s happy just to chill and watch the world go by. I’m currently living it up in foster care where I’m learning about the big wide world (sometimes I find it a bit scary!). If you’re after a well-mannered and sweet guy, I might be the hound you’re looking for!

A note from Stephen’s foster carers:

Stephen loves to seek affection from us but equally loves chasing and playing with his balls (toys!). He brings the ball back to us if he wants us to keep playing with him.

Stephen has been great with other greyhounds he has met, so may enjoy being in a home with another greyhound, or another large and chilled out dog. So far, he doesn’t appear to be a huge fan of large and energetic dogs, or small dogs. He isn’t hostile towards them; he just tries to leave!

Stephen is still learning his name and to come when called. He is easily distracted by new and shiny things!

Stephen is a sweet and gentle-natured greyhound, and his personality is still coming through. He likes to follow us around the house and see what we’re up to, but if we are doing something boring (by his standards) he will lie down on his bed and relax.

Stephen has spent some time with small children (4 and 7) and was very patient with them and enjoyed the attention. Stephen may be suitable in a household with small children as long as they are respectful of his space (and not too loud).

Stephen sleeps through the night without interruption.

Stephen has successfully mastered the few stairs that he has come across so far.

If you think I could be the boy for you, get in touch at or fill in an application form.
