Ruby (homed)

Ruby is now HOMED with Cassandra and Peter!!!

Ruby is a striking black and white hound and unlike your typical greyhound, this young lady is full of energy, very agile, active and thoroughly enjoys running around the yard and having a game of chase.  In many ways she acts more like a working dog than a hound and is such a fun loving girl.  She delights in any attention shown to her and is happy to play or cuddle, both being her favorite pastimes.  This young lady has an outgoing personality and will thrive in a home where she’s given mental stimulation and family members who will spend time with her as she loves interaction.  Always so happy, and a little cheeky at times, she is sure to win you over in no time with her exuberant personality.

Ruby is not cat or small dog friendly.  The ideal place for Ruby is  a large property where she has room to run and no annoying small pets to worry about. She’d enjoy living with medium to large active dogs or another hound.

She would love a foster carer to teach her how to be a pet and being a greyhound she will be smart and eager to learn and please.

Ruby is:

* 2 years old (dob Jan 10)

* vet work (desexing, vaccination, heartworming, microchipping) pending

* located in Sydney

* adoption donation $300

    Yesterday I was out at the kennels and around the back. I heard a commotion. All the dogs were running the length of their runs, up and down, and up and down, all in unison. I thought I bet I know who started this – sure enough it was Ruby. This beautiful and very pretty girl has been in kennels far too long – she is such fun, and I really would love to see her with a family to call her own.
