Prinny (homed)

Hi, I’m Prinny. I’m an older girl who’s just turned 9 and I’m really looking forward to finding a furever home of my very own! You see, I’m quite timid and will need an extra special family who will take the time to gently and patiently bring me out of my shell.  This big wide world is so new to me so I can be a little shy to begin with. I like to take my time to get used to new situations and people, but once I get to know you I’m really very sweet. When I arrived at GRHQ, my teeths weren’t in the best way so I’ve had to have some removed – this doesn’t affect my quality of life at all, I just need an extra special family that’s extra good at keeping what the ones I have left clean! I don’t mind other dogs, but I think I’d do best on my own while I learn how to be a ‘pet’ in your happy home. I’m OK with that though, if you are – it means more affection for me!

A note from Prinny’s foster carers:

  • Prinny loves all the finer things in life. She loves her food, furry toys and relaxing with a good pillow or three.
  • Prinny is quiet and laid-back, but loves to seek out attention. After a day at work she will greet us enthusiastically and demand pats.
  • She loves running around the backyard and going for walks (she walks very well on lead). She equally loves to spend some quality time on the couch and has good house manners.
  • She isn’t a fan of loud noises and is a little nervous in new situations, but she is getting better each time we venture outside and meet new dogs and humans.
  • Prinny has only met one small dog so far and remained cool, calm and collected.

If you think you have a special home for a special girl like me, get in touch at or fill in an application form.
