Johnnie (homed)

Hi! I’m Johnnie, a cheeky sort of chap with model good looks! As you can see – I’m really ridiculously good looking and I have the best buns of steel you will ever see and I’m not afraid to show them off. When I’m not flaunting my assets, I love food… toys… food… and oh, did I mention toys? If you have either of those things, I’ll be your best friend forever. Now, when it comes to other dogs I’m not too phased by them, in fact, I mostly ignore them and prefer to hang out with my people and focus on my toys and food!

A note from Johnnie’s foster carers:

    • We’ve had Johnnie for over 6 months now. He’s a low maintenance dog and his favourite things are treats, squeaky toys and humans! Johnnie is such a goofy boy, he constantly has his tongue out and sleeps in the funniest positions. He is really delicate and has never destroyed a toy. He enjoys pats and is super friendly with everyone he meets.
    • He needs about an hour of exercise per day in total, which we split in 2 walks throughout the day. He stays home alone during work hours, but sometimes I take him to office, where he’s been rewarded the title of best behaved dog!
      • Johnnie can lay down on queue and walks beautifully on a leash. His recall and “Stay” are getting better and better. Different from other greyhounds, he’s great with stairs of any kind. He also love the lift and rides really well in cars.
    • We live in a busy, urban environment, so he’s no stranger to noise. Johnnie is very clean and very rarely barks. Johnnie is a confident boy with lots of love to give.
