Clarence

Dogs 21.6.13 027

Gorgeous Clarence is from from the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter in Moss Vale.

Alice says the following about him:

“Clarence” male greyhound, 4yrs 9 months old: Couch potato by day, lounge lizard by night – he may not be a super hero but he sure is a super dog! Clarence is such a gorgeous young man, who like many greyhounds has found him self looking for a new loving pet home after a leg injury put a stop to his racing career. Clarence (or “Clarry” for short) is such a delightful boy who simply loves everyone he meets. He is such a social, happy boy who LOVES a good morning walk and then jump on the couch and snooze the day away. Clarry really would make the perfect pet for a family with older children or perhaps an active retired owner who can take him for a good morning walk and then have him indoors the rest of the day.

Clarry’s previous owners had his injured leg surgically repaired after he was retired. Although the surgery was very successful, as with all orthopaedic surgeries, Clarry’s new owner will need to be aware that he will most likely need ongoing care in the future for issues such as arthritis and there is also a small chance that he may need the surgical wire removed if any issues arise.

Being a greyhound, Clarence has a few special requirements for this new home: As their coat is so thin, he will require to have a warm jacket on in winter and he must sleep indoors at night. He will also require solid, tall fencing and a home without small pets.”

Denvers adoption fee is $300 – he is desexed, vaccinated, lifetime registered, microchipped and wormed/flea treated.

Please contact Alice if you think Clarence is the one for you!
