Bronson (homed)

Hi there, I’m Bronson! Don’t let me tough-guy name fool you – it just helps with my street cred. I’m really just one big softie.

I absolutely love spending time with people and really enjoy a good cuddle and a scratch. Oh, and toys, I just love toys – even better if they squeak! I’m happy to entertain myself but it’s always better to have a human to enjoy a game of fetch and have a chase with.

I’m good with other dogs too so if you have any potential furry siblings for me that would be super! Kids could be OK, but only if they’re a little bit older so they can join in the games!

A little about Bronson from his foster family:

His foster family say the description of Bronson is spot on. He loves his squeaky toy and is very friendly. He greets all visitors to the house with an enthusiastic wagging tail. Bronson belies his butch name and likes to spend a lot of time napping and being petted. He especially loves to have his entire back massaged and his tummy rubbed. When this is being done, he likes to lean against his human. At night, he sleeps right through and leaves his humans alone.

Bronson’s learning to walk on the lead quite well and is great with other dogs, even when they bark rudely at him on the street. His foster parents were very impressed that he didn’t hassle next door’s Chihuahua, but just expressed surprise and interest. They describe Bronson as very laid back, with no greyhound ‘zoomies’ in the backyard so far, unlike their other greys. He doesn’t even run fast at the fenced dog park, but just trots around.

Bronson’s foster mum and dad are encouraging him to feel more confident in their household and car. He’s learning to relax on the shiny floorboards (‘whoa, what’s that?) and to go for longer car journeys (‘whoa, this moves fast!). In summer, if he’s still with them, they say they’ll have to get him a big, plastic clam for the backyard, as he loved visiting the wading pond at Sydney Park.
