Ashy (homed)

Ashy is a beautiful 5 year old white girl with red fawn patches. She just loves human attention and would love a home where she is given cuddles as well as some good bonding time over training. She would need a comfy bed in the lounge room she can go to when she needs some quiet time. She is quite playful and loves her squeaky toys and doing the greyhound ‘hoarding’ of all things cuddly!

Ashy is currently in foster care with kids, cats and another greyhound, with whom she gets along well. Ashy can be quite bossy when playing with other dogs so could suit a hound that can handle their own or will need some manners taught but she will also be happy as an only dog as long as there are people to play with her.

Ashy is a typical happy greyhound who is a great eater, sleeps through the night and barks a couple of times in the morning to let you know she is awake. She loves zooming around the yard and then is happy sleeping the rest of the day. When excited she takes only a few minutes to settle down.

Ashy has made her way back into foster care with Rhianna and family due to no fault of her own and would benefit from finding a home where she can learn a routine and training . Ashy was in foster care with Calm, who is now on trial. Calm was the quiet, calm one (well named) while Ashy is exuberant and a little bossy but extremely lovable. We would love to hear from you if you can open your heart to this gorgeous girl.

Ashy is:

  • 5 years old (born March 08)
  • desexed
  • microchipped
  • vaccinated, heartworm tested and treated
  • Adoption Cost $300

Hi, i just had a couple of questions as i currently have one 7year old female greyhound, who could definitely use some company:

Is Ashy, is good with other dogs?
Was she an ex racing dog?
Does she have any barking issues/undergoing any training which needs continuing?

She looks gorgeous and would be perfect as i too live in Sydney.

Hi, can you tell me if Ash is still available? your website says she is on trial but still doesn’t say whether she has been homed.

Ashy will be on trial for a short time longer and we will post on the website soon whether that trial has been successful or not.
