Great cartoon, it totally captures the current situation and reinforces the need for greyhound adoption and foster carers.

I am currently fostering two Greyhounds and it is very rewarding seeing these dogs make the transition from racing asset to lounge loving pet. They are quiet, easy to care for and spend most of their day on the lounge or on a bed… Life is good for BIDDY and BEN but there are more dogs in kennels waiting to experience life outside of the racing world… Please consider fostering a Greyhound… You wont regret it!!!

We have just lost our beloved rescue greyhound Lily. Lily was attacked while I was walking her with my 8 yo daughter. Lily sustained horrific injuries from which she did not recover, despite the most intensive vet care possible. Lily, a dog born to run did not, instead she put her body between mine and the attacking dog.
Just wanted people who read this to know that greyhounds are also loyal and brave as well as kind and gentle.
Tomorrow we visit a dog pound that has a “dumped” greyhound, the dog doesnt know it yet but there is a soft bed waiting and some loving hearts coming to get her.
