Hi there, I’m Peanuts! I might be a big boy, but I’m a true softie at heart and I’m sure to charm you with my gentle and loving ways. I’m at my happiest when I’m hanging out with people and I love to lean on them and ask for pats! Oh, and I walk ever so well on the lead, so you’ll love going for walkies with me. I also love toys, food and chilling in my clam pool – you might say I’m a bit of a water baby!
I get oh so excited when greeting humans, and I sometimes jump with excitement, so it’s probably best I don’t go to a home with any small children. I get on well with the lady greys, but I think I’d be happiest living life as a bachelor for now – I do love being the centre of attention!
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention my most endearing and goofy quirk – I love to greet you with a big toothy smile that you will be powerless to resist!
A note from Peanuts’ foster family
Peanuts likes: walkies, zoomies, adventuring outside, being my shadow, napping, BBQ chicken, leaning for pats.
Peanuts dislikes: nothing!
We are working on basic obedience with Peanuts (down, come, stay), and he walks very well on the lead.
Peanuts gets on well with other dogs but can be overexcited with smaller dogs, and we are slowly getting him used to other dogs and rewarding calm behaviour.
Because he loves following us around the house and leaning, he can be a bit of a trip hazard so I wouldn’t recommend him in an forever home with elderly or very young people.
