Hi there, I’m Juniper!
I arrived at Greyhound Rescue a short time ago and now I’m in foster care; how lucky am I!
Here are some notes from my foster humans about what a treasure I am:
Juniper is a very calm and friendly dog. She settled into our place straight away and made herself at home. Juniper immediately recognised her bed and will always take treats and toys into her bed.
She is not startled by any noises in the home and is always interested to meet new people and soon relaxes when we visit other peoples’ homes. She shows little interest in other dogs either when we are walking or when she is off the lead at someone’s home.
Juniper loves to walk and seems keen to explore new routes when we are out and about. She is not scared by bikes, cars or noisy children. I take her out walking twice a day and she is happy for one of those walks to be a long one. Juniper also loves her soft toys and will spend several minutes each day throwing them around and chasing after them as if she were a puppy.
Juniper has a meal every morning and evening. I usually feed her around 7.30am and 6.30pm, however, I have altered this on occasion due to work or other commitments and this does not seems to worry her. She loves to sleep in the same room that I am working in, but is happy to be on her own all night.
Juniper does not cry if she is alone in the apartment, however she does have a tendency to seek out things that she can play with and destroy, such as a tissue box or a cushion.
