Hi there, I’m Darragh. I’m a sensitive soul who needs a bit of time to come out of my shell. I want to learn to trust humans but I’ll need some people who are willing to be patient with me, please – it’s all a bit new to me at the moment and I can find the big wide world a little bit scary.
While I wait for my furever home, I’m learning the ropes of pet life with my awesome foster family. I’m learning all about walks and my foster pawrents say I’m so well behaved on the lead. I’m learning to be a bit more confident too, and even asking for pats sometimes, they’re great!
I get along great with other greyhounds and I wouldn’t mind sharing my home with one of them – maybe they can help me learn the ropes of pet life? I don’t think I’m much of a city slicker though, so I’d prefer a nice quiet home in the suburbs with a backyard that I can chill out in. I’m not a big fan of small dogs either so I’d prefer a home without any of them.
I’m a bit of a gobble guts and I absolutely looooove food – my favourite thing ever is a kong with peanut butter! I’d love a family who can give me some enrichment toys sometimes, because they make me so happy.
What do you say, are you the nice peaceful home I’m looking for? With plenty of love and patience, I promise the wait will be worth it.
PS – want a free bag of food if you adopt me? Just enquire via my SavourLife profile. For every finalised adoption through the page, SavourLife will give Greyhound Rescue a donation and you a free bag of food!
