Brixton
5 year old male
Hey, I’m Brixton, and if we were meeting in real life, I’d probably be bounding toward you and spinning in circles with excitement! Excited to meet you and also excited at the idea that maybe you have a little treat in your pocket for me?! I LOVE treats! In fact, my love for treats is really helping me to learn new things with the help of my human friends. I am definitely willing to learn, especially when chicken treats are involved.
I am still getting used to other dogs, but so far, I am great with small dogs! I have always wanted to be a big brother! But if you have human kiddos, I’m better being a younger brother to kids aged 12+, just because I get a bit too exuberant when treats are involved and, because I’m such a bouncy boy, I might overwhelm littler humans.
What I’d really like to try is a forever home, with a human of two who will embrace my silly side and play with me, take me for strolls and let me help out in the kitchen, if you know what I mean *doggy wink*. Unfortunately, I’ve got an injury to my tail and the vets say I’ll need to have it removed. My human friends at Greyhound Rescue can provide a bit more detail about what is needed.
My human friends also told me to let you know that you should probably hide your bbq chicken and keep cheese plates out of snoot reach, but I’m sure they’re joking (or are they?? *another doggy wink*) They also said to tell you that I’m a delight. That I’m a joy-filled ball of energy who is clever and trainable, playful and curious and you’ll be blessed to have me. Yep, that’s what they said. I’m not even paraphrasing *doggy wink* So, what are you waiting for? Let’s hang out!

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!
