Remy has a new home

On Tuesday 30th June, Remy went on a two week trial, along with Tassie, in Jindabyne.

Remy had spent a lot of his life in kennels until one day he found a home where he had the luxury of lying on a lounge and he loved it. Unfortunately his new owner became sick and Remy landed back in kennels again.

Remy is 9 years old, very friendly with people and dogs, has lots of character which is enhanced by his big ears, likes to play and is looking for someone special to give this older boy the love and affection he so dearly deserves. He will certainly return that affection many times over and does not deserve to spend his last years in a kennel. Remy gets on well with both large and small dogs, walks easily on a lead and his favourite pastime is sleeping on the settee!!

Tassie has a new home with Remy

On Tuesday 30th June, Tassie went on a two week trial along with Remy, in Jindabyne.

Tassie is a gentle, older greyhound who has much affection to give to someone. She has shown love and devotion to many litters of pups and is now due the same love and devotion in return. She has spent most of her life in kennels and deserves the luxury of a home for her remaining days.

Tassie’s name originates as she came from Tasmania. She gets on well with the dogs that she lives with, both large and small and even at the age of ten you should see her run across a field having a great time.

Beautiful Biddy – rehomed

Biddy has found her forever home and is no longer available. Congratulations to Biddy, Cheryn and family at Panania.

Biddy has joined foster carer Mechelle. Biddy is a beautiful black girl who has lots and lots of character. She is a shy girl and takes a while to be comfortable around people but just loves to play with other dogs and as she is currently being fostered with two whippets, she is having the time of her life!! Biddy is a bit of a magpie and likes to collect things, usually putting them in the garden in her favourite spot without causing any damage, as illustrated by the missing TV controls found half buried in the garden, but still working!!! She is very affectionate, has lived with small dogs and is now proving to be cat friendly in her new foster home. Biddy is slim and at less than 27 kg she is lighter than the average girl greyhound, but she is still in excellent condition. However, the latest report is that Biddy is at last putting on a bit of weight and is now over 28 kg!!

Biddy is:

  • 2 years old (dob Feb 2007)
  • desexed
  • microchipped
  • vaccinated
  • heartworm tested and injected
  • costs $250 plus heartworm injection cost

Call us to arrange a visit with Biddy and see how beautiful she really is.

Meggie is a stunning Red Fawn and a most affectionate greyhound and deserves a second chance after finishing her racing career, for which papers are available. She gets on well with all the dogs that she lives with, both large and small, walks easily on a lead and likes to play. Meggie would be ideal in a family situation.
