i rescued a greyhound from the central coast pound she looks identical to kobi she was also born in jan O8 can you read kobis ear branding and let me know what it is as our greyhounds markings start with a v meaning she was born in victoria it would be interesting to know if the are related

Hi Pete and Janet!

My partner and I are looking at rescuing a Greyhound around mid-December (not as a christmas present, but we are getting married and I’m still at uni so we wouldn’t have the time to put into welcoming a new dog into our home). I have always loved Greyhounds and I really do like the sound and look of Kobi. I understand that December is a while away yet, but I thought I would contact you earlier than when we would like to enlarge our family :) We have a 7 year old foxy cross who-knows (she looks like a mini kelpie cross whippet) and she is a bundle of energy that needs a friend! She can be intimidated (lays down and rolls over, being submissive) by other dogs at times, but gets along with dogs she has got to know.
I would like to also give you a little bit of background on us, my name is Rhea and my partner is Peter. I am in the final months of my nursing degree and will be working next year. Peter is a plumber and works for his dad in our home town. We live on the mid north coast in a small rural town.
I am just wondering where you are situated? I look forward to hearing from you and looking at adding to our family :)

We home our greyhounds purely as house pets and for no other reason. Sorry we can’t help and don’t know who can. Peter
